Finally, the day had arrived when I reach my goal. I have fallen in love with my job since I was 19 years old, when I first started working as a western wedding planner. I remember it was a beach wedding at Jivana Beach Villas on Natai Beach, Phang Nga.
I was captivated when I witnessed a 5-minute-long firework spectacle at the beach after the first dance ended. It felt like I was standing in a scene of a Hollywood movie. I just realized that we could host a wonderful event like that in Thailand as we had everything we needed here.
At that moment, I was determined that wedding planning would be my future career. It was a route that would never be altered. However, every journey involves experiences.
Since that unforgettable day, I have been dancing my way through the wedding planning adventure. 16 years have passed and now the moment has come. With my skills and expertise, I am ready to work in my most beloved career.
My experiences helped me comprehend, learn, and discover my secret sauce. Over the years, I have learned that the most gorgeous season in Phuket, ideal for hosting fantastic events, lasts only a few weeks each year. Working with my team, who have become my family and are never going to abandon me no matter what, has woven priceless bonds.
My passion and inspiration for wedding planning have become my life and spirit. I am overjoyed every time we start a new project and am committed to support and stand by every member of my team in collaboration. I have been like this since we first started working together.
I started working as a wedding planner in Phuket in 2009, while still a university student. I seized the opportunity to work in wedding planning and event organization. The opportunity sparked the idea of paving the way in this career path.
When I was about to complete my degree, a New Zealand employer offered me a full-time position in wedding planning and luxurious event arranging. I met her at a wedding planning event, and she played an essential role in my career path. She became a role model for working with honesty and treating each team member like family. Since the day I began working with my New Zealand boss, my life goal became clear: I had fallen in love with this job and would undoubtedly establish the company of my own.
In 2017, I moved to New York to work and study, and my experiences there enhanced both my event organizing skills and my broad knowledge. After returning to Phuket, I found my own company with the unwavering intention of pursuing this path only.
Grace Tussa is happiest when she can assist clients in completing their projects. I am ready to provide supportive advice for any client arranging a wedding in Phuket. My late New Zealand boss, who ascended to the celestial realm in 2020, left me with a work wisdom as a memento. She inspired me to embrace my wedding planning career.
